Introduce your child to mindfulness with our special sessions for children. Use the power of Yoga to improve your child’s focus, memory, discipline, determination and value system. The children`s yoga classes cover simple yoga asanas, breathing practices, meditation, Relaxation, Yogic habits and Mudras through games, arts and other child-friendly activities. Ideal for children between the ages of 5-12 years and will not place any extra academic burden on the child.

I learnt Yoga formally from Rikhiapeeth (associated with Bihar School of Yoga, Munger) in 2018, but I got Yogic samskara even before I was born, in my mother’s womb. I started practising Yoga to combact failure in my journey of Chartered Accountancy, and the miraculous benefits led me to become Yoga practitioner and a strong desire to spread the knowledge of Yoga.

Is prior Yoga experience necessary for kids to join these classes?

No. Classes are designed to accomodate very beginners as well.

What can you expect from our classes?

Kids practice not just asanas. They also learn correct breathing and breathing techniques, mindfulness, how to relax yourself, Yogic games etc. Classes often incorporate creative themes and imaginative play to make the experience enjoyable and enagging for children. We encourage self expression and acceptance for oneself and others through various forms of Yoga.

What should children wear or bring to a Yoga class?

Clildren should wear comfortable clothing that allows easy movement and skin can breathe. We usually provide Yoga mats (kindly ensure before joining). Other necessary items can be water bottle, note book, pen/ pencil.

How can parents support their child's yoga practice at home?

The best way is to provide a Yogic atmosphere wherein they can include kids in their Yoga practice. They should encourage kids to make their own routine so that it can be included in their daily life.
